Natacha Amal (born September 4, 1968 in Brussels ) is a Belgian actress .

Life

Amal's father is Moroccan, her mother is Russian. She was married to Claude Rappe between 1997 and 2007. After graduating from the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles in 1988 and receiving a prize for the best interpretation, she played leading classical theater roles in plays from Shakespeare to Moliere under well-known directors such as Gérard Lauzier , Jean-Luc Moreau and Robert Hossein .

From 1989 Amal was also seen in film and television, such as in Tonie Marshall's Pentimento . In early 1990 she was seen in supporting roles in French and Belgian TV crime series such as Navarro (1991), Commissaire Moulin , Julie Lescaut and Nestor Burma (1992). She played the title role in the series Femmes de loi from 2000 to 2009.
