Natale Cirino (born February 5, 1894 in Catania , † May 29, 1962 in Palermo ) was an Italian actor .

Life

The Sicilian actor worked with the most important theater companies on the island (such as Giovanni Grasso , Tommaso Marcellini , Turi Pandolfini , Michele Abbruzzo and Rosina Anselmi ). In the 1928/1929 season he led his own theater troupe. It wasn't until the mid-1940s and during wartime that Cirino came to film as a character actor; he played his first films under his friend Pino Mercanti . In around forty works up to 1958, he only rarely had the opportunity (as in “his” episode as “Don Lolo” in Questa è la vita by Giorgio Pàstina after Luigi Pirandello ) to play out his acting abilities.

Cirino was married to the actress Rita Alaimo (February 14, 1894– August 1, 1964) (also occasionally active in film ).
