Natalia Alfaro (born April 8, 1987 in Heredia ) is a Costa Rican beach volleyball player .

Career

Alfaro completed her first open tournament on the FIVB World Tour in Acapulco in 2005 with Ingrid Morales . In 2011 Alfaro / Morales achieved third place at the NORCECA championship. In 2013 they completed a few more tournaments on the continental tour before Alfaro formed a new duo with Karen Cope Charles . In 2015, Alfaro / Charles took part in the World Cup in the Netherlands and were eliminated as the bottom group in the preliminary round. Shortly thereafter, they finished eighth in the Pan American Games . In October 2015 they completed their first joint open tournament in Puerto Vallarta . In 2016 further appearances followed at the Maceió and Vitória Open as well as at the Grand Slam in Rio de Janeiro . At the Continental Cup, Alfaro / Charles prevailed against the NORCECA competition and qualified for the Olympic Games .
