Natalia Mattick

Natalia Mattick (born September 16, 1971 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Mattick took part as a selection player for the German Basketball Federation in the U16 European Championship in 1987 and in the U18 European Championship tournaments in 1988 and 1990. At the 1988 tournament she was the second best scorer of the German selection with 10.4 points per match and the best offensive force of the Germans in 1990 with 13 points / game. She played 13 A internationals for Germany between April 1988 and June 1993, Mattick's best score in an A internationals was 16 points, scored in July 1991 against Hungary .

The indoor player was promoted at the part-time basketball boarding school in Langen , in the 1990/91 season played the 1.92 meter Mattick in the United States at Oregon State University . She scored 503 points this season, the highest value that a player at the university had achieved in her first year. Mattick's averages in her only year of play at Oregon State University were 18.0 points and 8.0 rebounds. As an award for their achievements, Mattick (like Lisa Leslie ) was appointed to the all-freshman team of the Pac-10 Conference of the 1990/91 season.

Mattick became German champion and cup winner in 1992 with Barmer TV 1846 Wuppertal . She competed with Wuppertal in the European Cup and stayed until 1994. In 1994/95 she played in the Bundesliga with VfL Bochum . In the 2000/01 season Mattick won the championship in the regional league with TG Sandhausen and thus achieved promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga.
