Natalia Verbeke
Natalia Verbeke (born February 23, 1975 in Buenos Aires ) is a Spanish actress of Argentine descent.
Life
Verbeke's family moved to Spain in the mid-1980s . The actress made her debut in the Spanish crime comedy Un buen novio from 1998. In the thrillers Brotherhood of Death (1999) and Kasbah (2000) as well as in the comedy To the End of the Road (2000) she played one of the larger roles.
Verbeke received the Catalan Ondas Award in 2002 for her two roles in the comedies Jump Tomorrow (2001) and The Wrong Side of the Bed (2002) . The role in Jump Tomorrow also earned her a 2001 British Independent Film Award nomination . For her role in The Wrong Side of the Bed she was nominated in 2003 for the Edición Premios Unión de Actores and for the Premios del Círculo de Escritores Cinematográficos . In the thriller The Venice Code (2004) she again took on one of the leading roles; Supporting roles played in this film u. a. Rutger Hauer and Malcolm McDowell .
