Natalja Sergejewna Schljapina b. Mokschanowa ( Russian Наталья Сергеевна Шляпина (Мокшанова) ; English Natalia Shlyapina (Mokshanova) ; born July 13, 1983 in Moscow , Soviet Union ) is a Russian football player . The striker took part in the 2013 European Championship with the Russian national team.

Athletic career

Schljapina's first position in the adult sector was FK Nika Moscow until 2000 , after which she switched to Sneschana Lyubertsy . After a brief engagement at Chertanowo Moscow , she moved on to Aurora Saint Petersburg in 2004 . After just one season, she joined FK Rossijanka in early 2005 . There she won the double of the championship title and national cup three times in 2005, 2006 and 2010, and the cup in 2008 and 2009.

After Schljapina had already represented the Russian colors in the junior division, she made her debut in the Russian national team in 2004. National coach Sergei Nikolajewitsch Lavrentjew appointed her to the squad for the European Championship in 2013. Here she played a short stint in the 1-1 draw in the group game against England when she was substituted on for Nelli Vitalievna Korowkina in stoppage time.
