Sergei Nikolayevich Lavrentiev

Sergei Nikolayevich Lavrentjew ( Russian Сергей Николаевич Лаврентьев , UEFA transcription Sergei Nikolayevich Lavrentyev ; born April 9, 1972 in Klimovsk ) is a Russian football coach and former football player.

As a striker he played u. a. for Arsenal Tula and Torpedo-SIL Moscow .

Lavrentiev has been coaching the Russian women's national football team since October 2012 . He led the team to Sweden in the play-off games against Austria for the 2013 European Championship . There the Russian team was somewhat unfortunate enough to be eliminated by drawing lots in the group stage.
