Natalya Rudakova
Natalya Rudakova ( Russian Наталья Рудакова , Natalja Rudakowa ; born February 14, 1985 in Leningrad ) is an American actress of Russian origin and model .
Life
She grew up in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) and received drawing and acting lessons there as a child . Later, due to the difficult times after the collapse of the Soviet Union, she could no longer visit it. Her mother took her to the theater every Sunday , where she developed a passion for acting. At the age of 17, following a decision by her mother, she moved to New York City , where she later worked as a hairdresser .
Rudakova made her film debut in the Franco-American action film Transporter 3 . There she plays the female lead as Valentina Tomilenko at the side of contract driver and title hero Frank Martin ( Jason Statham ) . She was discovered by screenwriter and producer Luc Besson while crossing a street in New York. The shooting of the film began a few hours later.
