The Nation River is a tributary of Williston Lake in the Canadian province of British Columbia .
The river has a length of 215 km. It rises east of Takla Lake . From there it flows in a south-southeast direction. It flows through the lakes Tsayta Lake , Tchentlo Lake and Chuchi Lake . In the lower reaches, the Nation River turns east and finally flows into the Nation Arm of Williston Lake. The catchment area extends over the Nechako Plateau and covers 5884 km².
