The National Academy of Arts ( Bulgarian Национална художествена академия ) is the oldest and most important art school in Bulgaria . It is based in the capital Sofia at 1 Shipka Street.
history
The first art school in the young Bulgarian state was opened in 1896 by decision of the National Assembly. In 1907 a building specially designed for this purpose was inaugurated in the city center.
