The Güeppí Sekime National Park is a protected area in the tropical rainforest of the Loreto department in Peru . It was designated in 2012 and is 2,036.29 km² in size. Together with the neighboring La Paya National Park in Colombia and the Cuyabeno Nature Reserve in Ecuador , the Güeppí Sekime National Park is part of a transnational protected area along the Río Putumayo .
climate
The climate is hot and humid with an average temperature of 25.5 ° C. Precipitation varies between 2500 and 2800 mm.
fauna
The national park is home to 417 bird, 97 mammal, 48 reptile , 45 amphibian and 17 fish species. Among the endangered species are among others, the Jaguar , which in Peru Otorongo is called, giant armadillo , giant anteater , neotropical otter , Amazonian manatee , the Amazon dolphin and yellow-spotted river turtle .

There are 627 species of plants in the national park, including Aniba rosaedora , Parahancornia peruviana , Didymopanax morototoni and Kapok tree .
