The Khao Laem Ya - Mu Ko Samet National Park ( Thai : อุทยานแห่งชาติ เขา แหลม หญ้า - หมู่ เกาะ เสม็ด , RTGS : uthayan haengchat khao laem ya - mu ko samet, National Park "Cape of the Grass Mountains and Samet Archipelago") is a Marine National Park (MNP, German about, sea - National Park ' ., No. 8) in the eastern part of the central region of Thailand .
The Samet Archipelago together with the Cape of the Grass Mountain (Khao Laem Ya) and an area of eleven kilometers of Mae Ramphueng Beach was declared a national park by the Thai Royal Forest Department in 1981.

The park is located in Rayong Province , about 200 kilometers southeast of Bangkok . It has a size of 81,875 Rai , which corresponds to about 131 km². Attractions
- The Laem Ya and Plet Mountains ( เขา แหลม หญ้า และ เขา เป ล็ ด ) are low laterite mounds with an area of 1.09 km². The southern cape is covered with forest, from the top of the hills you can see the curved, sandy beaches of Samet and two other islands in the west.
- Mae Ramphueng Beach ( หาด แม่ รำพึง - Hat Mae Ramphueng ) is the longest beach in the province and is located east of the provincial capital on the mainland. The park administration is also located here.
