Natter wood a church village and the district is the town of Daiting in the district of Donau-Ries in the administrative region of Swabia in Bavaria .

Natterholz lies in the hilly Jura heights of the southern Franconian Jura .

Natterholz was an independent municipality in the district of Donauwörth until July 1, 1972 and on that day, as part of the regional reform in Bavaria, was added to the district of Donau-Ries , until May 1, 1973 as the district of Nördlingen-Donauwörth . On July 1, 1974, it was incorporated into the Daiting community.

Natterholz belongs to the Catholic parish Sankt Martin in Daiting .
