Graefinthal natural stage
The Gräfinthal natural stage is an open-air stage near the Gräfinthal monastery in the Mandelbachtal community ( Blieshaben-Bolchen district ) in Saarland .
The natural stage is run on a voluntary basis by the Blieshaben-Bolchen cultural association without public subsidies. The main season takes place from June to August. One play for children and one for adults is performed, with between 15,000 and 20,000 visitors per season. The auditorium has space for 1,500 guests.
The stage has existed since 1932. In 2008 and 2009, the main building was expanded, completely renovated and made accessible with a disabled toilet, elevator and wheelchair spaces.
