The nature reserve Kiesgrube Wüstmark is a 16 hectare nature reserve within the urban area of Schwerin in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It is located in the northeast of the Wüstmark district and was expelled on October 1, 1990. The purpose of the protection consists in the development of an area formerly used as a gravel mine and military site with nutrient-poor soils and water. The state of the area is assessed as unsatisfactory. Due to the location near the settlement, there are impairments by motorcyclists, wood removal and illegal dumping of garbage and construction rubble. The protected area can be viewed from a path along the northern and eastern border of the protected area.
