The Wilde Ennepe nature reserve is an 18-  hectare nature reserve south of Halver in the Märkisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia . Parts of the area were designated as a nature reserve by ordinance in 1938. Most recently, it was re- established as an NSG by ordinance in 2007 by the Arnsberg district government .

Area description

The NSG is a near-natural section in the upper reaches of the low mountain range Ennepe with accompanying spring tributaries and surrounding wet forests. In the area there are also wet clearing areas, spring corridors and deposited boulders. The ground is partly boggy .
