The natural mating system Achomitz in Achomitz consists of several natural hills . The facility includes two smaller jumps of category K 20, K 32 , a middle hill of category K 50 and a normal hill of category K 75. The jumps are not covered with plastic mattings. The jumping facility is the home of the Austrian Nordic combined athlete Tomaž Druml and was the basis for the later Olympic champion Karl Schnabl . The club SV Achomitz / ŠD Zahomc is considered one of the most successful in terms of Nordic skiing in Austria.

history

The first 30 meter hill was constructed in 1952 in Achomitz near the border triangle Austria-Slovenia-Italy with the participation of Stanko Bloudek and Janez Gorišek . Ten years later the K 60 ski jump followed. In 1993/1994 the jumping center was expanded for the youngsters. This is how the K 20, K 32, K 50, K 75 ski jumps and a snow-making system were created. Since then, comparison competitions between Carinthia and Slovenia have been held every year.
