Barbara Klinec (born August 24, 1994 ) is a Slovenian ski jumper . She is currently a member of the national team's B squad.

Career

Barbara Klinec made her international debut on January 23, 2008 at a Continental Cup in Toblach, Italy on the Trampolino Sulzenhof , where she reached 36th place. After further COC competitions and participation in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 2009 , she was able to achieve 34th place in the first ever women's individual competition on the normal hill at the 2009 Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec . She also won the bronze medal at the Slovenian Summer Ski Jumping Championships in 2009 .

Subsequently, she completed several Continental Cup competitions until she was mainly active in the Alpine Cup in the 2012/13 season and only achieved podium finishes there. In the 2012/13 World Cup season , she made her World Cup debut in jumping in Ljubno, Slovenia , in which she finished 20th.

Her sister Ema is also a ski jumper.
