Reports and broadcasts of the most important regattas , interviews about the stars of sailing and documentaries about the most beautiful sailing areas are broadcast. In addition, Nautical Channel is the only broadcaster in the German cable network to show reports on the ASP World Tour , the "World Cup of Surfing".
In December 2011, the station was called the Nautical Channel . Before that, it was called Yacht & Sail Channel since October 2007 and until then it was called Sailing Channel.
The program is broadcast in German , English , French and Italian . The broadcasting center is located in Milan , Italy . It started broadcasting in 2001 .
