The Nautley River is a left tributary of the Nechako River in the north-central part of the Canadian province of British Columbia .

The Nautley River forms the outflow of on the Nechako Plateau nearby Fraser Lake . It flows from the eastern end of the lake about 1.5 km in an easterly direction and flows into the Nechako River 3.5 km northwest of Fort Fraser . The course of the river crosses the Nautley Indian reservation (Fort Fraser) 1 . The Nautley Road crosses the river 800 m above the mouth. On the north bank of the river is a settlement of the Nadleh Whut'en First Nation .

Hydrology

The Nautley River drains an area of ​​about 6030 km². The mean discharge is 31.3 m³ / s. The highest monthly outflows usually occur in May and June.
