Naveen Kumar (born January 20, 1988 in Chhapar , Haryana ) is an Indian athlete who specializes in obstacle course .

Athletic career

Naveen Kumar gained his first experience at international championships in 2013 when he finished fourth in the obstacle course at the Asian Championships in Pune in 8: 49.95 minutes. The following year he took part in the Asian Games in Incheon , where he originally won the bronze medal, which he was deprived of two years later because of a doping offense. His results from 2015, including participation in the Asian Championships and the Indian Championship, as well as at the beginning of 2016, when he competed in the Indoor Asian Championships, have also been canceled. In 2017 he started again at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar , where he finished seventh in 9: 02.95 minutes.
