Nayla Hayek

Nayla Hayek (* 1951 ; resident in Egliswil ) is a Swiss entrepreneur.

Hayek is the daughter of Nicolas Hayek , who died in June 2010, and is the founder, President and Delegate of the Board of Directors of the Swatch Group . She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Swatch Group since 1995, where she served as Vice-President from March 2009 until she was elected President of the Board of Directors on June 30, 2010. Her brother Nick Hayek is President of the Executive Committee of the Swatch Group.

Nayla Hayek sits on over 30 other boards of directors of the Swatch Group. She is the only woman at the head of a large company that is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and included in the Swiss Market Index .

Her son Marc Hayek , who today runs the watch manufacturers Blancpain and Breguet SA , grew up with his grandparents after their divorce.

Hayek breeds Arabian horses and runs a stud with around 50 horses in Schleinikon . She is a member of the World Arabian Horse Organization . She lives in Hergiswil , Canton Nidwalden .
