Neal Fredericks
Neal Leslie Fredericks (born July 24, 1969 in Newport Beach , California , † August 14, 2004 in the Florida Keys ) was an American cinematographer and producer .
Life
Neal L. Fredericks, who was nicknamed "Boogie", was born on July 24, 1969 in Newport Beach , California . After that he lived alternately in Asia and Europe until after some time he moved back to America to study film art in Baltimore. In his final years he was settled in Los Angeles . His first film as a cameraman was the horror film Laughing Dead , which was shot in 1998. His big break came with the films The Blair Witch Project (although the film was supposed to have been shot by the three actors, Heather, Josh and Michael) and Dreamers .
He was married to the Chinese Ann Lu from 1999 to 2003 .
He died in Florida exactly 3 weeks after his 35th birthday when he crashed in a Cessna plane over the Florida Keys . He wanted to shoot the film Cross Bones .
