Necla Rüzgar's scenes present the social and political pressures of everyday life, but confront them with a different, delicate and magical reality. Her earlier works reflect ambivalent situations that present hidden desires, temptations, sexual violence, bestiality and hierarchical power situations in oppressive allusions and explicitly challenge culturally coded expectations. Necla Rüzgar exhibits internationally. Several solo exhibitions by the artist were on view at Gallery Nev in Ankara, in which her individual gouaches , paintings or sculptures seem to be integrated into an “epic” oeuvre. In her work, the artist often uses her own portrait as an alter ego for a female figure who, like other vulnerable beings, such as deer, deer or sparrows, becomes potential prey. In her work, however, an unconditional search for beauty and freedom in the face of violence is also visible, which "objects to the darkness".
