Răducanu "Rică" "Tamango" Necula (born May 10, 1946 in Vlădeni , Ialomița district as Răducan Necula ) is a former Romanian football goalkeeper . He completed 329 games in the highest Romanian football league, Divizia A , and took part in the 1970 World Cup.
Career
Necula started his career at Rapid Bucharest . He celebrated his first use in Divizia A on May 10, 1966. After he was only used towards the end of his first season, Necula was a regular goalkeeper in the 1966/67 season and was instrumental in winning the title. After winning the Romanian Cup in 1972, Rapid fell back more and more in the lower regions of the championship and finally rose to Divizia B at the end of the 1973/74 season . This season, Necula not only excelled as a goal hinder, but also contributed three goals of his own as the first Romanian goalkeeper. After he had managed to rise again with Rapid in the following season, Răducanu moved to league rivals Sportul Studențesc . After three years at Sportul, Necula got the opportunity to join the most successful Romanian football club, Steaua Bucharest , in 1978 . Here Răducanu could not prevail as expected and only came to a good half of the possible stakes, so that he joined FCM Reșița in the fall of 1979 , which played in Divizia B. In 1980 Necula was given the opportunity to play in Divizia A again and moved to FC Baia Mare , which he left again during the winter break. After stints at two lower class clubs Răducanu ended his career in 1982.
National team
Necula played 61 games for the Romanian national football team . He had his first mission on June 24, 1967 against Italy . He took part in the Soccer World Cup in Mexico in 1970 and was used in the game against eventual world champions Brazil when he came on in the 28th minute for the injured Stere Adamache .
