Neculai Vasilcă

Neculai Vasilcă (born November 28, 1955 in Bacau ) is a former Romanian handball player .

He played as a circle runner for Știința Bacău and went to Germany in 1990.

For the Romanian national team , Vasilcă played 126 international matches, in which he scored 161 goals. At both the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow and the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, he won the bronze medal with Romania. At the 1982 World Cup , he was fifth with the Romanian team.

In 2011, Vasilcă was the coach of the women's league team of GSV Eintracht Baunatal .
