Nedda Harrigan

Nedda Harrigan (born August 24, 1899 in New York City , New York ; as Grace Harrigan , † April 1, 1989 ibid) was an American actress .

She began her film career in 1929 with The Laughing Lady . She had the greatest success at the side of Boris Karloff in The Devil's Island .

In 1940 she made her last film Castle on the Hudson and withdrew into private life. Nedda Harrigan was married to the actor Walter Connolly from 1923 until her husband's death in 1940 . The marriage produced a daughter, actress Ann Connolly.

In 1945 she married the theater director Joshua Logan . The marriage lasted until his death in 1988. It resulted in two children. Nedda Harrigan died of lung cancer a year later.
