Neel Mukherjee
Neel Mukherjee (born 1970 in Calcutta , West Bengal , India ) is an Indian author who writes in English .
Life
Mukherjee was educated at Don Bosco School, Park Circus in Calcutta and then studied English at Jadavpur University . He received a Rhodes scholarship to the University College (Oxford) until his graduation in 1992. He received his doctorate at Pembroke College , closing the subject Creative Writing in 2001 at the University of East Anglia in Norwich , County Norfolk from.
Since 2008 Mukherjee has published three novels, some of which have won awards. The author lives in London .
