Neferkare Tereru was an ancient Egyptian king ( pharaoh ) of the 8th Dynasty . The spelling Nefer-ka-Re-tereru can be found in the list of kings in the mortuary temple of Seti I in Abydos (no. 49). Neferkare was probably his throne name and Tereru the proper name of the king, about whom nothing else is known.
