The Negoiu ( Romanian Vârful Negoiu ) is the second highest mountain in Romania at 2535  m .

The mountain is located in the Făgăraș Mountains , a mountain ridge of the Transylvanian Alps in the border region of the central Romanian districts of Argeș , Brașov and Sibiu .

description

The Negoiu was long considered the highest peak of the Făgăraş Mountains, until the Moldoveanu turned out to be nine meters higher. However, the Negoiu is considered by the population to be the most beautiful peak and the one with the most beautiful view.
