Neicer Reasco Yano (born July 23, 1977 in Tambillo , Esmeraldas Province ) is a former Ecuadorian football player .
Career
Reasco played continuously for the Ecuadorian top club LDU Quito from 1997 - with the exception of 2000/01, when he went to the Argentinian first division club Newell's Old Boys from Rosario for eleven games . The defensive player was a regular in the right full-back position and won four Ecuadorian league titles between 1998 and 2005. After 249 league appearances for the capital club, he left Ecuador for Brazil after the 2006 World Cup, where he now plays for the former club world champion FC São Paulo . He is the only non-Brazilian in their squad. After a long injury, he returned to the squad there in January 2008. In July 2008 he moved back to Liga de Quito.
He made his debut for the Ecuadorian national team on October 18, 1998 in an international match against Brazil . He played a total of 55 international matches for Ecuador and took part in the 2004 and 2007 Copa América tournaments. Reasco was in his country's squad for the 2006 World Cup and was used in three games. Since in the national team his regular position as right defender was occupied by Ulises de la Cruz , he played right in midfield or on the left defensive side.
