The necropolis of Ispiluncas is located about 3.0 kilometers southwest of Sedilo in the province of Oristano in Sardinia , near the tombs of the giants and the nuraghe of Iloi . It consists of 32 Domus de Janas in two groups about 200 m apart. The hypogea have very different floor plans. In addition to multicellular systems, there are others with simple shapes. Domus 2 and 3 are the only ones in the necropolis that can be entered.

Domus 2

Domus 2 in the north-eastern sector of the necropolis is divided into 13 chambers. The entrance ends in a rectangular room with vertical walls and the imitation of a sloping roof. The floor is inclined slightly outwards. On the left is a small square niche. The entrance to the triangular main chamber is rectangular. There are two raised posts nearby. The ceiling of the main chamber is sloping forward towards the entrance. At the back it has a double slope. At its highest point there is a semi-circular bezel as a bas-relief, outside of which there is a representation of a beam that runs through the sloping ceiling almost to the entrance. In the left corner of the room there is a raised pilaster with traces of red paint. There are two door openings in this chamber, also called Anticella. Door 1 in the middle of the wall, framed by a double frame, leads to a small room with curvilinear walls, which has a door opening in the left wall that leads to another irregularly shaped side cell. Door 2 on the right wall connects the Anticella with the eight eastern chambers. Domus 2 was used until the Middle Ages .

Domus 3

Domus 3 is also multi-cell and has an entrance with two side niches. Behind a small, square antechamber is a central, square main chamber. The original shape of the domus was changed in later times; this can be seen in the lower precision of the finishing work. Three entrances branch off from the main chamber, which lead into seven additional secondary chambers, some of which are diffuse in plan. Domus 3 was also used until the Middle Ages.

Among the finds in the necropolis is a fragment of a neck vase (from grave 32, not accessible) with an engraved anthropo-zoomorphic figure, which can be assigned to the Ozieri culture (3200–2800 BC).
