The necropolis of Realmese is an Iron Age rock tomb necropolis of the Pantalica type, which consists of 288 rock tombs. It is located on a rock about 3.0 km northwest of Calascibetta in the Free Community Consortium Enna in the center of Sicily .

Two periods of use can be distinguished: the first from the middle of the 9th to the first half of the 7th century BC. BC, a second from the middle of the 7th to the second quarter of the 6th century BC. The necropolis corresponds in style to the necropolis of Pantalica and is one of the most important of its kind on the island.

The first excavation was carried out in 1949–1950 by the archaeologist Luigi Bernabò Brea (1910–1999) who found some artifacts: ceramics, knives, rings, earrings and brooches, which are now in the Regional Museum Paolo Orsi in Syracuse . A stretch of old sandstone paving ( cutu in Italian ) leads through the Realmese necropolis .
