The Nemesis Glacier is a large glacier in Mac Robertson Land, East Antarctica . It flows in a northeast direction through the center of the Aramis Range in the Prince Charles Mountains and flows into the Amery Ice Shelf .
Participants of the research trip undertaken between 1956 and 1957 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions discovered it in January 1957. In memory of the difficult terrain during the crossing, they named it after Nemesis , goddess of "righteous anger" from Greek mythology .
