Nenad Jovanović (born November 9, 1979 in Belgrade ) is an Austrian football player who is used as a defender .

Athletic career

Born in Serbia, he began his career at FK Heroj Belgrade, from where he moved to Austria for DSV Leoben in 2000 . There he made his debut in the second highest Austrian division on July 11, 2000 under coach Milan Đuričić against SV Braunau . The game in the Grenzlandstadion of Braunau am Inn ended 1: 1. Jovanović played through and got a yellow card in the closing stages of the game. After eight years with the Donawitzers and relegation in 2007/08, he moved to the Red Bull Salzburg Juniors . There he played 54 games and scored four goals. After the forced relegation of the Juniors from the First League, he moved to the promoted Wolfsberger AC . There they made promotion in 2011/12 and played in the Austrian Bundesliga from the 2012/13 season.

From the 2014/2015 season, Jovanović will play for the Upper Austrian district league club ASKÖ Oedt .
