Nenad Kovačević , Serbian: Ненад Ковачевић , (born November 11, 1980 in Kraljevo ) is a Serbian football player.
He played as captain at FK Crvena Zvezda (FK Red Star Belgrade) until he moved to France for RC Lens in the 2006/07 season. He is a member of the Serbian national team . Due to his fighting and strategic skills, the defensive midfielder is an important pillar in the Serbian national soccer team and at Lens.
