Nenad Mlinarevic

Nenad Mlinarevic (born April 2, 1981 in Zurich ) is a Swiss cook and restaurateur of Serbian descent .

Live and act

Mlinarevic was born in Zurich and completed his training as a cook at the Dolder Waldhaus in Zurich in 2000. From 2000 to 2010 Mlinarevic worked in various kitchens in Switzerland, such as the Wiesengrund restaurant and, among others, Andreas Caminada in the Schlosshotel Schauenstein . Later he also worked in restaurants such as the Vendôme in Bergisch Gladbach , the Noma in Copenhagen and the Maaemo in Oslo .

In 2010 Mlinarevic started his first position as head chef in the Neuen Blumenau in Lömmenschwil, where he received his first Michelin star, 15 Gault Millau points and the Discovery of the Year award . He then headed the Focus in the Park Hotel Vitznau , whose concept he developed and helped shape from the start. The restaurant opened in 2013 and immediately received 2 Michelin stars and 16 Gault Millau points. In 2014 it was awarded 17 points, in 2015 it was 18. At the end of 2017, he left Focus and has since devoted himself to pop-up gastronomy.

TV appearances

In spring 2018 he was seen as a duelist in the short-lived VOX cooking show Knife Fight Club . In December 2019 he was seen as an opponent of Tim Mälzer , who previously hosted Knife Fight Club in his restaurant Bullerei , in the 5th season of Kitchen Impossible .
