Rudolf Reinhart

Rudolf Reinhart (born January 20, 1897 in Linz , † November 11, 1975 in Innsbruck ) was an Austrian sculptor who mainly created metal sculptures .

Life

Rudolf Reinhart first completed an apprenticeship as a plumber and coppersmith . From 1926 to 1929 he studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule Vienna in the gold and silversmith class with Josef Hoffmann and in the sculpture class with Anton Hanak . He then lived and worked temporarily in southern Germany, Switzerland, Pola , Puch near Hallein and for a longer period in Hall in Tirol . He mainly created figural forging in various metals. One of his students was Jos Pirkner .
