Charisma

In November 2019 it was announced that the start of a new season would be brought forward to December of a year for the first time. Two episodes were broadcast on December 1 and 8, 2019, followed by the third Christmas edition on the following Sunday. The season continued from February 9, 2020 to March 29, 2020, followed by the repetition of the episode with Max Stiegl from season 4, another broadcast of the episode with Nenad Mlinarevic from December 2019 and three best-of episodes .

Duelists

Steffen Henssler
Steffen Henssler and Tim Mälzer at Grill den Profi (Summer Special 2018)
Tim Raue

At the official announcement of the start of the season in November 2019, Peter Maria Schnurr , who was previously seen as Roland Trettl's duelist in Season 3 , as well as in the 2nd Christmas Edition (2018), and Nenad Mlinarevic , who, like u. a. Lukas Mraz and Max Stiegl previously named as the first opponents, who appeared in Mälzer's short-lived program Knife Fight Club in 2018 . In May 2019, Steffen Henssler , who had been Mälzer's competitor since the grill in the Profi Summer Special 2018 , was confirmed. In addition, there was an obligatory duel between Mälzer and Tim Raue , and they were presented with their common goal by Trettl for the first time as part of the Christmas Edition 2019 : they would both cook one and the same dish in Austria for one and the same jury. More duelists were announced in January 2020: this is how Mälzer will measure himself against Franz Keller , Haya Molcho , Jan Hartwig , Christoph Kunz , Martin Klein and again Max Strohe , who was already an opponent of Mälzer in the previous season. Molcho had also been seen in the previous season, where Mälzer was challenged by Tanja Grandits . Lukas Mraz could also be seen again on the show, this time at the side of his father, as the original chef of a task given to Christoph Kunz and subsequently with his opponent Jan Hartwig.

1Mlinarevic was originally sent to Singapore by Mälzer , but fell seriously ill there and was unable to complete his task due to a hospital stay of several days, which is why an alternative destination was sought in Slovenia.
2 Fritz Keller , brother of his challenger, was among the jurors and previously welcomed Mälzer to Europa-Park , where he visited a few rides with him.
3Mälzer initially met ex-contender Alexander Herrmann , and the box was served to him in one of his restaurants.
4th Mälzer canceled the task and did not serve a dish because he failed to prepare it in the tandoor oven.
5 Mälzer gave Hartwig up to whether he would include the rye bread in the assessment, which he then did not do due to lack of time.
6th Marc Haeberlin and Christine Ferber , who could already be seen in season 3, were among the jurors.
7thMälzer complains by phone to Henssler that they had agreed in advance bilaterally to forego baking work. Henssler then confirms that the bread is not part of the task. Klaus Baumgart was among the jurors.
8thSince the components of the task were assessed separately by the jury, tenths of a point were possible for each individual assessment. Roland Trettl and Mario Lohninger were among the jurors.
