The third season Kitchen Impossible began on February 4, 2018 and was broadcast on the private broadcaster VOX until March 25, 2018 .

Charisma

The first broadcast began on February 4, 2018 on the usual slot on Sunday evening with Tim Mälzer's duel with Konstantin Filippou and ended on March 25, 2018 with his duel with Christian Bau . The repetition of the 3rd season began on October 7, 2018, with repetitions on Sunday instead of Monday evening for the first time. As with season 2, the reruns were broadcast in a different order. It started with the duel with Mario Lohninger , after which individual episodes from previous seasons were broadcast again. The pilot episode was also shown four years after its production, which Mälzer and Tim Raue looked back on in newly shot or edited material. Therefore, not all episodes of the third season were broadcast again.

Duelists

Roland Trettl
Juan Amador
Johannes King
Mario Lohninger

Roland Trettl and Maria Groß returned for season 3 . Furthermore, an episode with Peter Maria Schnurr , already announced for season 2, was broadcast, which was also the episode with Trettl. Accordingly, this was not a newly shot material. Except for this episode, Mälzer was seeded as one of the participants in all duels. His challengers were Konstantin Filippou , The Duc Ngo , Tohru Nakamura , Johannes King , Mario Lohninger and Christian Bau . Ex-contender Juan Amador , against whom Mälzer was victorious in season 1, appeared as one of the jurors at Mälzer's assignment in Vienna in episode 1 of the season.

1Schnurr badly injured his thumb during the first shoot in London and had to cancel the challenge, which would have included variations of dumplings. Three weeks later the shoot was repeated with a new dish in a new location.
2Mälzer had to cook at three different locations, which is why there were three juries of ten people each. The overall rating of the country resulted from the average of the individual ratings.
