Cincșor ( German Kleinschenk, Hungarian Kissink, Latin Parvum Promontorium ) is a village in the Brașov district (Kronstadt) in Transylvania , Romania . It is part of the municipality of Voila (Wolldorf).
The village , which had been inhabited by Transylvanian Saxons for centuries, was first mentioned in a document in 1332 .
The Romanesque church with the west tower was built in the second half of the 13th century.
As part of an EU project, 18 fortified churches , including the fortified church of Kleinschenk, are to be renovated and made accessible for cultural tourism. In September 2017 an “artist residence” was set up in the fortified church.
