Nerijus Radžius (born August 27, 1976 in Akmenė ) is a Lithuanian football player . He has been playing for Sūduva Marijampolė in A Lyga , the highest Lithuanian league , since 2010 .

Career

Radžius began his career in the youth team of his home club Cementininkas Naujoji Akmenė. In 1995 he moved to VMFD Žalgiris Vilnius , where he worked until 2000. In its first season they finished third in the championship playoff. In 1997 they won the cup and in 1999 the first championship title followed in Radžius' career. He then left Vilnius in 2000 and moved to Zagłębie Lubin in Poland . In the first season, the fifth place was achieved, further you came to the final of the Polish League Cup.

In 2003, after three years, he moved to Chernomorets Novorossiysk in Russia , later he moved within the country to Volgar-Gazprom Astrakhan . In 2006 he returned to Lithuania and signed with FBK Kaunas , where he was champion in 2006 and 2007, followed by the runner-up title and a cup victory in 2008, and he also won the Baltic League . In 2009 he moved again to Poland, where he was under contract with Łódzki KS for half a season . In January 2010 he returned home and went to Sūduva Marijampolė .

He has played eleven times for Lithuania so far. He made his debut in 1997.
