The Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto ( UNRC ) is a public Argentine university founded in 1971 and based in Río Cuarto .

The college was founded on May 1, 1971 by state decree. The 165 hectare university campus is located east of the city, 6 km outside the city center of Rio Cuarto, Province of Córdoba and is affected by the national road 36.

Over 20,000 students study in bachelor, master and PhD programs at five faculties. Numerous postgraduate training opportunities are offered in economics; Distance learning is also possible.

The university has been a partner university of the University of Koblenz-Landau as well as the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg , the University of Flensburg and the University of Bremen since 1995 .
