The University of Belgrano (Spanish: Universidad de Belgrano (UB) ) is a private university in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires in the Belgrano district .

The university was founded on September 11, 1964, the legal basis was Law No. 14,557. At the beginning the university had 90 students, 28 professors and an administrative employee, currently it has almost 10,500 students (as of 2009). Her motto is Ad omnes pro scientia et cultura (English: science and culture for all people).
