The Nestucca Bay is a small bay of the Pacific Ocean on the west coast in the US state of Oregon . The bay is south of the city of Pacific City , in southwest Tillamook County . It has an S-shape and is about 5.5 km long. The two rivers Nestucca and Little Nestucca flow into the bay from the east.

The bay is best known for the Nestucca Bay Wildlife Refuge, a nature and wildlife sanctuary that stretches along the east bank. Here is the habitat of the world's largest colony of Canada geese ; Nestucca Bay is an important retreat, especially for the Aleut Canada goose, which is temporarily threatened with extinction. Bob Straub State Park is located on the peninsula north of the bay .

The American Nobel Prize laureate Pearl S. Buck owned a country house on Nestucca Bay , to which she used to retire to write.
