Netty Baldeh stood in the 1997 election to parliament as a candidate for the Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC) in the Tumana constituency in the Basse Administrative Area . With 56.12% he was able to win the constituency before Mbemba M. Tambedou (UDP) for himself. For the parliamentary elections in 2002 he ran again in the same constituency. Since there was no opposing candidate from the opposition, he was able to win the constituency for himself. In the 2007 parliamentary elections , he ran again in the same constituency. With 67.24% he was able to defend the constituency before Alfusainey Jawara (UDP). In 2012 Baldeh ran again, in the 2012 parliamentary elections there were again no opposing candidates from the opposition, so he was able to win the constituency again for himself. After Yahya Jammeh lost the presidential election in late 2016 , the former ruling APRC party fell in a crisis. In February 2017 an initiative was formed to consolidate the party. In the so-called committee was also Netty Baldeh next to the majority leader in parliament Fabakary Tombong Jatta , and the two parliamentarians Abdoulie Suku Singhateh and Musa Amul Nyassi . In the elections for Parliament in 2017 Baldeh did not occur again.

According to a press report, Baldeh intended to leave the APRC in July 2017 and join the United Democratic Party (UDP).
