The Neue Straße 16 building is a listed residential building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located on the south side of Neue Straße in the Buckau district of Magdeburg . To the west is the also listed building Neue Straße 15 , to the east the building Neue Straße 17 .
Architecture and history
The four-storey house was built in 1886 by the carpenter Aug. Wischeropp for the widow Erhard. The facade of the representatively designed building has seven axes in the neo-renaissance style. It consists of yellow bricks and plastered surfaces. There is a band structure on the ground floor. Here the two outer axes are placed closer to each other. A side wing is attached to the rear of the main building.
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 82622 .
As part of the street row from the Wilhelminian era that has been preserved, the building is characteristic of the street scene and is an example of a typical apartment building from the construction period.
