Former New Synagogue in Aub

The New Synagogue in Aub , a town in the Lower Franconian district of Würzburg ( Bavaria ), was built in 1743. The former synagogue at Neuertgasse 12 is a protected architectural monument .

The two-storey, plastered gable roof building with half-timbered upper storey was renovated in 1879 and 1927.

The synagogue building was damaged in the November pogrom in 1938 and then converted into a residential building.
