Haus Neuendorf 10 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located northwest of the town's market square on the west side of Neuendorf Street and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The building is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register.

Architecture and history

The half-timbered house was built in 1680 by the Quedlinburg master carpenter Andreas Rühle and is the master's oldest known building. Other information gives the year 1689 as the year of construction. The compartments are provided with decorative lining. On Traufgesims and on the floor threshold to find profiles. An inscription on the house reads: THIS HOUSE IS IN GOD'S HANDS GOD PROTECTED IT FROM WAR AND FIRE, HANS CHRISTIAN HERDOL, MARIA SCHALERIN, ANDREAS RUHLE ZIMMERMANN .

In the period around 1800 the house was redesigned in the classicism style. It has a dwelling and a representatively designed portal.
