Jalisco B (* 1975 , † 1994 ) was an internationally successful show jumping horse and stallion of the Selle Français breed . He is considered one of the most successful stallions in breeding and sport.

Career

In 1983 he won the Paris Grand Prix under Xavier Leredde. The couple was shortlisted for the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles , but the stallion was injured during a tournament in Spain.

He was later sold to Portugal and started in 1988 under Manuel Malta da Costa at the Olympic Games in Seoul . Shortly afterwards he returned to France as a breeding stallion. In early 1994 he died of colic at the age of 19 .
